She seemed to sense exactly where I was coming from and what I needed. She is able to go deep and to use sustained pressure -- but in such a sensitive, gentle, and loving way that it is easy to trust her and relax into it. My massage only lasted an hour, but it felt like it was two hours or an hour and a half -- so much was accomplished! I walked out of there feeling much more calm, open, relaxed, and "in" my body. We are so fortunate to have this spa in the mountains. If you can’t afford to fly to the islands, this place will awaken your senses and refresh you in just minutes.
I received an incredible deep tissue massage from Gwendalyn (Cost for 1hour=$95), and I would highly recommend her strong hands and understanding of the body. In addition to massages, Aloha Skin Spa has broadened their services since they’ve opened their doors to include nails, teeth whitening, Ayverdic treatments, scrubs, waxing, facials and various packages.
I like the atmosphere, the people, Hawaiian decor and soothing waterfall in the middle of the spa. It’s a great place to visit after a busy day in the office and the perfect treat during your mountain vacation. The sliced cold pineapple at the end of your treatment is just the icing on the cake.
